The UM Integrated Laboratory (UIL) at Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) plays a pivotal role in coordinating various operational aspects of laboratories across the campus. The UIL’s primary responsibilities include:
- Inventory Management: Ensuring structured and organized inventory management through a Centralized Management System (CMS).
- Safety: Guaranteeing all laboratories adhere to clear, detailed safety rules and procedures.
- Waste Management: Guiding laboratories to implement stringent waste management procedures to safely dispose of or recycle waste products.
- Operational Standards: Developing and enforcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in all laboratories to ensure consistency and safety.

Furthermore, the UIL also oversees a specialized laboratory located on the second floor of Building A19 at UM.
